Smile Cookie Campaign is in its 25th year and this week, Ottawa restaurant owners will donate the full $1 from every freshly baked Smile Cookie you purchase to support the Snowfuit Fund.
As we have all heard the restaurant industry is experiencing staffing issues, as a result, The Snowsuit Fund in Ottawa is seeking volunteers to join Algonquin College Public Relations and Brand Management students at various locations from Sept. 15-18 to assist with decorating cookies for the annual Tim Horton Smile Cookie campaign.
You can sign up online at snowsuitfund.com/tim-hortons-smile-cookie/
Board member Trish Ferguson, with Ottawa Police Services, is ordering 1200 smile cookies, that’s right, 1200 cookies and tomorrow, Ottawa Police Services will hand out in the community while Royal Lepage is placing orders for delivery to all of their branch offices.
You too can buy them at your local Tim Horton’s store or pre-order a dozen or more for pick up or scheduled delivery. Cookies may also be available for on-demand home delivery via the Tim Hortons app, Uber Eats or Skip the Dishes.
Whether it is to send to coworkers, friends, family, neighbours or yourself, do it, it’s a great cause and like I always say, charity means no calories 😉
