Ottawa Grassroots Festival (OGF) is on this weekend and welcoming music lovers to its 2022 festival, on now til Sunday.
Attendees of this year’s festival will be able to enjoy it live at St. Andrew’s Church with the evening concerts also available online via Zoom for those who are unable to attend in person.
This is a huge milestone for the festival, and celebrations will take place in grand style at this beautiful location in downtown Ottawa.
OGF is thrilled to announce a stellar headliner line-up including:
Tonight where you can check out the amazing band Twin Flames, Chelsey June, Métis (Algonquin Cree heritage) from Ottawa, and Jaaji, Inuk and Mohawk from Nunavik and Kahnawake, who are part of an Indigenous renaissance and they are one of the best bands you will see live, do not miss out on this!!!
And don’t get me started on tomorrow night with The Mavens and our very own Lynn Miles and the amazing Shari Ulrich, with Susan Crowe, it does not get any better than that!!All workshops and performances on Saturday and Sunday will be FREE to all attendees.
Enjoy an afternoon of nature with tree experts Ed Lawrence, Meredith Brown, Robert Cretien, Marcel Beauchamp, Carolyn Kallahan and Chris White.
Discover talented harpists, slam poets, choirs and more. Learn the art of making a guitar or bring your baby or toddler for some musical fun!
